I've got my 2nd Posting at Nabukelevu, Serua in 2018. We were really nervous as to where this place is. My family and I went up to the village. 15kms inside from the queens road and without Electricity. The only way to survive was solar energy. I managed few days until our school had Generator. Slowly got to know everyone in the village. Made families, Momo, Nene, Taciqu, tavale, oh and Karua 🤭.. What an amazing experience i had.. Time flew so fast that later i realized that it had been 3 years. Becoming a Kava Girl was blissful 😝.. I had learnt so many words in their dialect. i could understand what they were saying to me and i would reply to them in broken dialect. Leaving them behind made me realize the importance they made me feel while i was there. Everyone cried their hearts out.. Nabukelevu will always be my second home ❤️
