Easter Dinner for 4, under $20 - the recipes! Here's how I turned my $20 Dollar Tree haul into a full Easter dinner for four.  I did all of the prep first so everything could bake at the same time, and honestly, I was so happy with how it all turned out. Cherry Pie Sugar Cookies: Look for my recipe in my archived videos. Pineapple-Stuffed Ham Slices with Sweet Glaze: Drain juice from the canned pineapple into a saucepan over medium heat. Reduce the juice until it thickens. Take off the heat and stir in a tablespoon of butter or margarine to make a glaze. Take slices of ham and fold in half, around pineapple rings cut in half. Layer in a baking dish, slightly overlapping. Pour glaze over the top of all, cover, and set aside. Scalloped potatoes: I prepare these differently from the box instructions. I add the ingredients into a saucepan and start the potatoes, milk, and powder packet on medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes. Place into a baking dish and set aside. Green bean casserole: Every family has their version of this one! Mix the drained green beans with cream of mushroom soup, season with salt and pepper, and stir to combine. Top with panko bread crumbs mixed with melted butter or margarine.  Garlic herb biscuits: Grate your cheddar cheese and mix according to package directions, using milk in place of water for added richness. Use leftover grated cheese on top of the scalloped potatoes for extra flavor!  Bake the ham, scalloped potatoes, and green bean casserole for 30 to 35 minutes, then add the biscuits in the final 15 minutes.  Begin your macaroni and cheese in the last 10 minutes of cooking time. Make according to package directions. When the biscuits are pulled out of the oven, top with seasoned melted butter. Enjoy!
