Winning my HMO appeal! ✅ With the help of Ian, an ex-planning officer at @planningprofits, I won my HMO planning appeal against Hull City Council. In addition, the planning inspector agreed that I didn’t need to move the door into bedroom 1, saving me a big expense. I hope to remain ‘friends’ with Hull City Council - as I never wish to burn bridges. That’s the main reason why I never reclaimed any costs against them, which I was advised that I could.
