FYI, I am aware that there are amazing midwives out there!! I have been fortunate to experience amazing midwifery care!! However, I think it is imperative that we consider how the messages we convey on social media are perceived. Given that there is a national investigation into maternity services & the documentaries that have been released highlighting poor maternity care it is important that you consider how you represent yourself and your profession when making TikTok content. I am not a midwife. However, I am an advocate for ALL patients, and shaming patients across social media FOR VIEWS is distasteful & disgusting. sort it out.
